Project implementation, management and rescue

DCA is increasingly staying with projects to assist clients to realise building developments and implement strategic recommendations:

  • For Nottingham City Council, the Centre for Contemporary Art's Project Director works for DCA and is responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of taking the project through to opening the new centre in 2008.
  • For Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, DCA will be working to a similar model to realise the redevelopment of Margam Park and Castle.
  • Organisational change regularly brings with it a testing period of implementation and DCA regularly assists clients through this stage, establishing recommended governance models and effecting staffing and other necessary changes.

DCA has the skills and experience to implement a wide range of projects and run them successfully. Equally, in cases where a project or venue is struggling to deliver its outputs or programme, or to meet its budgetary goals, DCA is able to intervene to provide diagnostic, remedial and rescue advice and management.

With considerable experience in venue and facilities management, DCA is in a position to offer a range of operation and management services to local authorities and other bodies with responsibilities for operating arts, cultural and heritage facilities. Individually tailored solutions range from temporary direction of operations through to long term operations management through a variety of public-private and trust structures.
